Innovative activities of universities and institutions of higher education may lead to inventions, creations or discoveries that have potencial commercial value. Yet the potential of their IP policies and management practices are often under-realised. Improvement in IPR management can boost industry-university cooperation and knowledge transfer.
The aim of this workshop is to help participants develop IP management skills. It will provide participants with the more practical aspects of managing IP in a university, such as IP contracts management and patent drafting.
